Sister Kathryn Stalder grew up in a loving Christian family in Australia and South East Asia, and through a 7 year battle with depression and anxiety has come to experience the true joy and freedom tha t can be found in a living relationship with our real and incredibly personal God. She has a heart for the broken-hearted and those socially marginalised by poverty, gender or illness. Kathryn feels that through her experiences, God is calling her to minister to other women and to children, desiring that they too may come to know the acceptance, intimacy, love and liberation that an identity as a child of the Heavenly Father brings. Kathryn currently works as a small animal veterinarian, and feels that she is gifted in the fields of encouragement and service, although in the past she has also been involved in music, leadership and administrative ministries. She is now attempting to grow this ministry in Australia.
Sister Michelle Minett is a relatively new Christian and met with God in a personal way only 3 years ago. She was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness up until she was almost 20 years of age. During a turbulent time at home and a life of false religion and heavy doctrine, she became close friends with David and after a short time of support and hearing about God through him, he prayed for her on the phone. This was the first time she had ever experienced God and instantly felt his Holy Spirit and his Love. This year saw Michelle taking a further step in faith by getting baptised in March of this year by Pastor David. She is currently a member of Buxton Community Church. Michelle has practical skills in administration and has a heart for children and bringing sunshine into the lives of those in need.
Sister Zoë White is a mother of three young children. Caring for her eldest child takes up most o f her time, as he suffers from Autism and ADHD. Zoë has always felt she has known God, and grown more and more aware of his presence throughout her life. She suffered abuse and long-term illness as a child and an abusive marriage, but through Christ has found healing and strength through his grace, and been given a profound sense of compassion. Above all, she says, she has learned the precious lesson of empathy, which she is now using as she trains to become a counsellor.
Zoë is devoted to her local Baptist church where she enjoys being a part of Celebrate Recovery and is Baptist Missionary Society Representative. She has been invited to help with the church’s counselling service as well as Celebrate Recovery. Zoë is hoping that God will provide her with more opportunity to help people, to encourage them and to help them to realise that through Christ there is forgiveness and healing and fullness of life, both at her church and through Outreach Ministries “for in Him we live and move and have our being”.
All our small team are committed to serving the Lord Jesus Christ and being led in ministry by his Holy Spirit.
