News - March 2010

We are delighted to announce that our dear sister Kathryn Stalder is currently serving the Lord in Mongolia through voluntary Veterinary work and giving practical aid through Outreach Ministries.  Please pray for her through this time away and we hope to be reporting and showing prictures soon.  Our Love and prayers arw with her.

Between September 2009 & February 2010 O
utreach Ministries was delighted to share that Pastor David and Sister Kathryn were overseas undertaking mission and ministry work and that we were able to support two churches in Kenya and Andhra Pradesh India. Both of these places had been affected by many crises: Kenya, where Pastor Nicodemus is situated was stricken by drought and famine, where food and water prices increased day by day; and the area of Andhra Pradesh, where Pastor Rao’s orphanage is located, was severely hit by flooding. The orphanage and the surrounding village were spared, by the grace of God, and were not flooded. However other neighbouring villages had been affected, necessitating that people travel to Kotipalli in order to access food and safe water.

Through prayer and the kind donations of money, Outreach Ministries was able to send money to
both churches to provide aid.

"We are indeed humbled and privileged to share with you that we were greatly blessed and relieved to receive your loving, willing, whole hearted, friendly, compassionate and cheerful gift, believe you me servant of God the gift came when my family and the brethren had gone for Four days without food.

We entirely, unanimously with one accord thank our dear, Beloved, compassionate, caring Brothers and Sisters at Outreach whom the Lord has made a connecting and binding bridge between you Brethren and us here in Africa, we are amazed that you have put our needs first and above yours and for the very special regard you have shown to the mothers, fathers and children of Kenya." Pastor Nicodemus - Kenya.

Unfortunately this support can only provide temporary relief from the effects of flooding and famine so that is why we at Outreach Ministries ask you our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to keep in mind our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in our prayers.
